Corn Snake with Lump on head, please help

Hey, my corn snake (which I've had for 7 years) has developed a lump on the top of his head, it's hard and a light brown colour. It's not very big but it won't come off so it's defiantly not something stuck to him. I have picture but I'm not sure how to upload them. Please could somebody help me, what is this lump? Is it serious? I'm really worried for him.

I really wish I could help but sadly I have no idea what it could be.
However do you know when he last shed was? Is he due one soon? Hopefully it might come off with that. Is there any way he could have hurt himself?

It doesn't seem to be anything alarming. I wonder if it will just shed off, at his next shed. I haven't seen anything like it.

Welcome ! I took a look at the pic and as far as I can tell it appears to be a scab. It should shed off with the next shed. No worries from what I see :)

It doesn't look infected, and as long as it doesn't seem to be painful, I would think its okay to let it be (just with close monitoring). If it starts to change, look worse or is still there in a couple shed cycles, maybe consider the vet.

If you are worried about it though, you could try calling your vet and seeing if you can talk to them on the phone. My vet does this when I am not sure it is worth the stress of going to the vet but still want to make sure everything is okay.
