Talked to Chuck a few days ago and it is going to have some new stuff and pictures. Can't wait to see it!

yAAAAAAAAAAAY!!! My 08 is totally falling apart and I know there's so much new stuff in the last year...

*excited*

Thanks for the heads up. I have learned a lot from the 08 copy, do you think in 09 they will say the pied sided trait is genetically inherited?

He said it may take a few extra days, but he is putting on the finishing touches now. Should be very soon!

I understand the press is rolling so to speak....First books looking to be mailed Thursday. But we all understand how busy he's being with a newborn baby now in the house! And making all these books by hand isn't easy without the added work of a newborn baby to tend to! So we'll have to be patient, but he IS working on them right now. All done, just need to make them and deliver.

And to answer an earlier question, been known for about four years that pied sided is a genetic trait. It's still I believe a question if it's only a bloodred trait or can be independent of the bloodred gene? Time will tell.

But anyhow, I too am looking forward to the next installment of new info. This is a must get for anyone interested in the various color morphs found in the hobby. And fantastic that it now shows whole snakes of various color morphs.

Plus, the genetics section does a great job at hashing that out for you so that you aren't left in the dark!

I concur.

Woo Hoo!

Mine, I mean Euan's, arrived from all the way over the pond today - fantastic service from Chuck, top bloke.

Also took the opportunity to order Kathy and Bill's Comprehensive Owner's Guide at the same time, and this looks a great reference manual for me, I mean Euan, for the coming years.

Both came signed as well!

Cheers

Ian

Still waiting for mine (plus Genetics for Herpers) ... but it does have to make its way across the pond first :)

I just got my personally autographed copy, plus a couple of dozen to resell. But I didn't get a chance to really look at it yet. Looks good at a quick glance! Hopefully I will get to read through it over the next couple of days.
