Hi all,

I wanna know is it OK if i put my cornsnake's cage near to my computer?
Or is there any negative effect if i do that?

Thank you very much for your answers :D

I don't think you have to worry about any real harm to your snake being done by putting it near a computer. The only issue you might have is if it's tank is near a CRT monitor which can put out a lot of heat or by an exhaust fan on the computer which might blow in warmer air and/or dust (since computers seem to be dust magnets :crazy02: ). I would also be cautious about putting the tank above a monitor or computer in the chance that you might accidently spill some water from it's water bowl one of these days, but other than that, I think don't think you have anything to worry about :)

I have the same reaction with DeadMouse when i read about CaptBogart's answer :D

OK then, so i believe there is no problem except the heat from the computer,,,
Thank you once again for the answers :D

I have had my snakes Vivarium next to my computer since i got him 10 months ago. I have had no problems, and my computer is on 24/7 because my housemates use it as a server to connect to the internet.

Ive noticed if i play music or a computer game he will usually stick his head out of his hide to see whats going on, or climb up his vines and watch me.... LOL :)
