Tai just finished with his shed while I was moving him home for Spring Break, and I simply couldn't resist taking some pics. I have only two because I didn't want to bother him too much before letting him settle, but that's good enough for me. (Well, kind of. ;) )

Thanks! In those two images he appears much more orangey than he really is which bothers me, but then I'm a perfectionist. ;) He looks more like the brick red lavas in real life, but it's so hard to capture with the lighting I have available... ><

Oh my god, I fell in love with him in Joe's 25% off sale thread! I'm glad he went to someone on the forum who likes to take pictures!

He's great.

Is it possible your camera is to blame for the orange tendency? My power shot is good with colors, but my parent's fujifilm is bad with reds.

Oh he is AWESOME!!!! DEFINITELY on my "must have" list in a BIG way!!! lol Well, we'll see next year... ;)

Thank you all for the comments!

It's actually incredibly possible, hence why I'm saving for a new camera. Heh, I have have the Fujifilm S5000, so it's funny that your parent's Fujifilm does the same thing. I usually try to restore any colors that are lost in the framing process, but sometimes it will mess with the quality of the picture, which I just can't sacrifice. ;)

My, that's quite suspicious! What camera are you saving up for? I'm saving up for a DSLR, hoping that I don't crumble half way and end up with a Powershot G9. The sample pictures of it are nice, but it's still only a point and shoot.

I actually haven't decided on one yet. I know I want to go high so I can stop upgrading probably for a while (I've had this camera for 4 years). I'm thinking either one of the Nikon SLRs or a Canon Rebel/other SLR. I've gotta keep saving for a while, I think.... :headbang:
