Could Anyone Sex my corn?

Can you get a photo of her, on her ventral side, showing from a bit above the vent to the tail tip, with the tail straight?

I can't guess from that. I would be looking at tail length in general, and the width of the tail at the base.

The face shot of 'her' is adorable :)

You might try to get a better shot by getting someone else to take the picture while you hold her - and hold the tail tip and above the tail with your hands for the picture (letting the rest of her lay along your arm)

Or you might try putting her on a clear surface (glass table?) and taking the picture from underneath .

At 2 years old she's too big to sex by 'popping' safely - There's a description here for visually sexing (second post) http://www.reptileforums.co.uk/forums/snakes/541946-possible-visually-sex-corn-snakes-2.html

It's not about total length of the tail as much as it is the length of the thickest part of the tail.

If you don't plan on breeding then it's a girl..
If you do then it is the opposite of what you want it to be ...... well that's the way it seems to work the me :)

Really though, I got boys that look like girls and visa versa. You really need to pop or probe to know for sure and even those methods can be erroneous at times......

Haha! As they say, you can only be 100% certain a snake is female once you've seen her lay eggs.

I've only had 2 snakes turn out to be an opposite gender than they were sold as.
Popping is generally correct, but can be iffy and only used on hatchlings. I'd probably put that at a 75% chance of being correct. Probing is a little more in depth and for adult and juvenile snakes. It's typically more accurate. I'd put it closer to 85 or 90%. Tail ID is a lot easier than most realize. It just takes some studying of known males and females to see it. That being said, it's difficult to do it with babies. But I've got 2 that were sold as male and female and I'm almost positive that they're wrong. I'd say tail id by an experienced breeder (not a pet keeper) is closer to 100% than most people think. Maybe still around 90 to 95%, but I'm fairly confident in my tail ids when I can do them in person. Internet tail ids by pictures are more like 80% correct because pictures can distort what you're looking at.

If you "pop" out a hemipenis then its 100 percent a boy. If you don't pop out a hemipenis then I might agree 75% a girl but really depends on how experience the "popper" is. I've popped adult colubrids with no problem but I mainly do it to see if there s a sperm plug first before probing. Sometimes the sperm plug will cause a "false positive" for female. I know a guy that pops adult pythons and boas with no issues. Identifying the sex by the tail for the 90% of snakes that end up as pets is seemingly accurate since they are never proven thru breeding trials. As hypnoctopus said, "you can only be 100% certain a snake is female once you've seen her lay eggs." Haha !!
I've sexed 100's of snakes by tail as pets and feel I'm pretty accurate but when it comes to needing or selling a breeding pair then it's popping and probing for me.

I'll agree with your statement about the males vs females as babies. I was going for a more general answer when I said what I did.
As for popping adults, most people advise against it...plus it's very difficult.

I was just adding to the conversation. :)

I would also advise most people against popping adults. It is difficult but after a few decades of doing it I know pretty quick if I'm going be able to pop a hemipenis. If I don't pop out a hemipenis or sperm plug after a few tries then I probe. I've done it with adult colubrids like corns but never attempted it on large species of adult boas or pythons. When I saw it done I was flabbergasted to say the least.
Also just adding to the conversation in the last couple of years I've purchased pairs and trio's of baby snakes from very experienced and highly respected snake breeders that turn out not to be pairs and trio's :awcrap:

I agree completely :)
