Creepy Crawly Critter Cake!

I can't believe my baby boy turned seven this week! He wanted a creepy crawly critter cake for his birthday, and I had fun making one for him. Before making this cake, I had no idea how many gummi critters they make. Here is a picture of his birthday cake, complete with gummi snakes, turtles, geckos, frogs, worms, snails, bugs and slugs. Yum!

It's not only cute, but I love the bright colors! As for your son--well, they just don't make them any more adorable than an little boy with a missing tooth . Wish your little guy a very happy birthday from me .

Thanks for your nice comments, everyone! It was super easy to decorate, and I think everyone liked it better than much fancier ones I have decorated with frosting. Maybe I'll just decorate cakes with gummies from now on!
