So today is feeding day!

I am heading back home from spending the weekend at my mom's, so when I get there I will feed and put some pics up:D
Last time I weighed Crush he was at 17 grams...that was 48 hours after eating...assuming he kept on some of that weight after pooping, he will be on double pinks today :D
 
Sooo........he kept on the weight! He just took double pinks for the first time!
I gotta be honest, I was a little worried...but it's like he knew he was getting another one because as soon as he got his first one down, he started looking for #2!

Not the greatest picture in the world, but you can definitely see the 2 lumps :D

It's weird to see two lumps like that. I don't think I've seen a picture of a corn that has just eaten two pinks!
 
Haha...I was a little concerned at first...it seemed like too much...
But he got them both down fine...I will just be monitering him closely to watch for any regurge, but let's keep our fingers crossed :D
 
There is a difference...you are pretty much getting them the same "weight" of food either way, but the fuzzies are generally too large atfirst for a snake that can eat 6 gram prey items...so until they get big enough you feed them two pinkies...
You seem to be kind of new...on the main page scroll down to the user forums, the one called "Roy Munson's Serpent Lounge" Click on it...the first thread should be called "The Munson Plan"...these are good GUIDELINES to follow. It's not set in stone...but most people on here like to use this chart to base their own feedings on......
 
I remember when Mali changed to double pinks... it was a big deal. I've never had any problems with feeding, but it was like a baby's first step or first word. :p Now she's eating fuzzies... she's a pig. :D
 
Ya i am kind of new here...... I just got my first corn snake about 2 weeks ago. Hes(I dont know what sex it is yet) 2 months old and hes an amel. But thanks for telling me where to go its greatly appreciated I want to learn as much as i can about cornies and how I can improve the way I take care of mine.:D
 
2nd Double Pink Feeding

I was going to trim these down, crop out the excess junk like...my Courtney's feet in one of them :) but decided I didn't feel like wasting the time...that and my computer is being a douche.
^Yes, Computer's can be douches.

I love Crush!!!! He's sooo cute and VERY orange, I'm loving it! I'm looking forward to seeing him grow! :D:D
