Cutest Couple Photo EVER! And the biggest pet on four feet allowed round here anyway!

First myself on Sugar... the mare we adopted this past spring. She is a beauty isn't she? They think she is a spotted draft/haflinger cross. She is about as slow as one! I do love a good draft cross pony!

Next is Lauren on Rita. Rita is a pinto with a hint of arab thrown in to make things exciting! They are a great match!

And Look...the cutest photo ever! *taken the next day from previous pictures in case you wonder why we changed! LOL!

Rita is really pretty! She's retained a lot of the slenderness of an arabian but doesn't look as "fragile" as a purebred. I've seen a quarter horse/arab mix that looked, simply put, a little ridiculous, but your Rita has definitely gotten the bests of both breeds.

Sugar is beautiful, as well. I myself have a drafty mutt (16.1 hands red roan, looked like a tennessee walker before he filled out. We actually got him registered as an Appaloosa somehow, but he's definitely got draft in him) I can't tell you how much his slowness drives me nuts! He does this lazy little trot that is a pleasure to ride, but it's useless for dressage! I swear, I have to dig my heels into him the entire time I ride.

Boy, Sugar really does have a haflinger build, doesn't she? Pretty girls. Thanks for sharing photos. :)
