Dangers of an impulse buy.. Hypo Hondo DUW

I fell into the same trap about 3 or 4 years ago. Unfortunatly mine escaped, as all the best in my collection seem to do.

He was last seen living under the hot tub. I was moving out of the house he escaped in when the people working in the back yard announced they'd found a very beautiful snake under the hot tub.. and that they'd put it in the garden. :realhot: As I frantically ran out to the backyard they said "oh you should be able to find him real easy". Ya... I don't think they quite understood.. He's probably still living happily somewhere outside in that backyard! :uzi: I've since quit buying snakes over $300...
Ooouch. At least they didn't say "We found a colorful snake under your hot tub... but dont worry, we took care of it."

That is a beautiful hondo!

I think it was blinding orange that said "You have buy me!" LOL

That's a looker man! Congrats on the new addition!

Thanks but sadly this guy went back to the shop. He refused to eat for me but I got another guy from there as a swap.

His name is Samhain.

Bummer about the other guy.
This one is a looker too...and he looks like a good eater;)

Keep us updated:)

Sorry to hear that things did not work out with the other fella.
However, Samhain is a great looking snake too!:)

Okay, Just saw the swap. Should've read on before posting
Gorgeous too :) Less orange, but not less beautiful.

He's gorgeous... Milks are awesome snakes, I can't wait to get mine... ;)

Milks tend to be jumpier than corns. They are a beautiful snake but as an FYI. They are not as calm as any of my corns or rat snakes. Reason why they do not make good newb snakes. Most people want to hold their snakes and these guys are not it. They squirm way to much in the early years.

I OWN a pet store and keep buying snakes! Recently a 100% het albino Honduran female. I didn't need her for any reason at all. I don't even have a male anymore. I honestly feel sad when certain snakes sell. I watch Barczyk videos in my free time and wish I had such a collection.
When people buy snakes they had no intention on getting, I know exactly where they are coming from.
