Daytona Acquistion Pics *dial-up warning*

False Prophet
Daytona was so much fun, and I almost got everything on my list. I still need a 1.0 Hypo Pewter and a 0.1 Albino Ruthvens, but as you'll see, the ones I got to cross off are exceptional animals from exceptional people... Ok, to start, are the Diffused group...
Rock, my 1.0 '06 Granite.. Not on my list, but after seeing the ones posted on here, then in person, I couldn't pass him up.

To finish out the trio, (1.0 Rock and 0.1 Veyne the Hypo Bloodred), is Pele, the 0.1 Fire, (Amel Bloodred)...
Pele.jpg

Next up is Zayne, a beautiful 0.1 Lavender Aztec from Rich, to complete my Lavender project trio....
Zayne.jpg

The only pair on the list were the Sunkissed Okeetees and I believe I found some winners. First is 0.1 Polythene Pam...

and 1.0 Mean Mr Mustard.. The tail rattler....

Because I can only post five pics at a time, I'll have to reply to myself to add the next group so give a couple more minutes to post the others.. Mmmmmmkaaaay... :D

The Sunkissed Okeetees are stunning! I just may have to pick up a pair of those.

I also LOVE that little Lavender Aztec. I'll have to begin working on picking up some lavenders ... maybe next year... course there IS an expo in Oct... maybe I'll nab some then :grin01:

Anyway, Congrats on your pick-ups... I can't wait to see the rest!

Ok, now this one caught my attention, and wasn't even on the table. They were brought by accident by the brother of the guy I used to run into at the local pet store buying feeders. The parents have purple sides, steel blue line down the back, and pink motley dots. He said he thought he just had a nice motley anery pair hatch with a pastel look, but they kept getting lighter until they looked blue/purple as yearlings.... :shrugs: I just know I like the look of this guy, and he'll make a great future mate to my 0.1 Anery Motley

To finish off my Lavender Cali King project trio, I had to get an Albino, so here is 0.1 Zenith.

Thanks for looking at the latest additions to my gang... :grin01:

Wow!!! those sunkissed okeetees & that aztec lav are amazing but lock all the doors, someones stolen the hypo blood........ :)

What a show for you, eh Joe? Great acquisitions! I'm not used to seeing lavs with borders like that one. And I'll be ready to accept Zenith if you get tired of her. :)

Very nice additions to your collection. Tough to decide, but if I had to choose a favorite... I'd say the Aztec. Congrats, they are all beautiful.

Lol, I already had the hypo blood from the FIRE expo and needed a male and another female to complete the trio. I still want a Hypo Pewter but haven't decided on whether I want a male or female now. That was supposed to be the male in the project....

That's a lavender?! Looks like one of those damn charcoal whatsits.
Wait till I get outside pics... she does have more of the grey/purple look which I really like over the grey/peach most Lavenders have. I'll start individual threads to mark their progression...

It was an outstanding show, and Kate will start a post of all the members we got to meet, which was the best part. I saw the post of your new Cali before we left, and thought, "Damn, he beat me to the Albino on my list!", so I had to find a good one :grin01: I have a feeling we might have to do some breeding loans in the future... The problem, (to me), is the yellowing of the albinos markings, so hopefully I can breed that out with the high white of my Lavender male... hopefully... :shrugs:

I LUUUUUUV that aztec.

Nice name for your fire, too.
:D She really is the jewel of this outing and can't wait till I get the chance to breed her to my Lavender Motley. Kate came up with the name since Flame, Torch, and sparky were to much like male names :shrugs:

I was thinking the same myself on that one Joe............

Selective breeding in the making.............beautiful animals here, good luck with them all.

Awesome acquisitions! Polythene Pam has to be my favorite, but the lavender (but it looks like charcoal) aztec is sweet too! :)

That lavender is a very nice pick! I saw it in person but it was already purchased...had it been on the table...there is a good chance I'd be posting pics of it....
