hello i bought a random corn i saw in the pet store about 4 months back i just assumed she was a caramel but i was just surfing ians vivarium and noticed that the caramel eye is black is this true in all caramels because my babies eyes are purplish

i cant get any pictures atm sorry

sorry that was half complete i also saw that the butters eye looks just like my babies thats the reasoning behind the name of the thread

Butters are caramel amel (albino) so their eyes are red. Are you saying the pupils are ruby? Or does yours have red eyes?

I would say its a butter if its got red eyes. Do you have a picture? Do you know for sure its a caramel? Butters are very yellow compared to caramels. Is yours an adult?

mine is 4-5 months old so its a baby and the only pics arnt great but their in my profile in an album im not sure if u can look at those but i havnt figured out how to put them on threads

Looking at the photos in your album, your snake is an amel, not a butter. The saddles are *red*, something you don't get with butters at all. The yellow/orange on the ground color is also not the typical shade for a butter.

It looks like one of your snakes is an amel and the other could be a butter but its hard to tell the pictures are all blurry...

Ah, yes. Taking a closer look, I do see the orange/yellow on the second snake. Pictures were blurry enough that it looked like a snow to me. Teaches me to stare better. :p

yea i know i have an amel and other say in that pic that mystery snake looks like a ghost to but thats because it wont shold still it actually has alot more yellow then the pic leads on

That could be a butter; he's not a plain caramel. Where did you get him? If he's a rescue he can be anything, even a creamsicle.

if these pics dont go thru im mad and if they do their not great pics of her eyes u can c their not black in these but their way darker then they are in real life

i got him from a random pet store who knew nothing about corns(last time i make that mistake). i didnt know any better at the time

i hope so i love how butters look all grown up and sorry their all of it eating it just wouldnt hold still in my hand/on the floore

Butters are my favorite caramel morph. I plan on working butter into my breeding plans when I out-cross my line. I'd love to see a butterberry or a peachberry. Those morphs don't exist yet, unless the breeders are super quiet.
