Disgusting

This made me almost cry :( People are so sick sometimes.

There looked to be some really nice animals in there too :nope:

I hope this person got what he deserved.

It's horrible is what it is. Anyone who keeps animals like that needs to be severely prosecuted. And if you can't care properly for your pets/breeding stock then you need to rehome/sell them. It just makes my stomach churn and my blood boil to think about those poor snakes. :angry01:

Amazing. I have health problems and am just a teenager and my pets are in much better shape, even when I'm half assing some things. That's ridiculous.

That reminds me of pictures of puppy mills.... There is a special place in H_E_double hockey sticks for people like that.

That's awful.. they can't even move around in those small drawers. There is no excuse for that.

From what I've found online, the guy attempted to defend himself, then blamed it on someone else, then gave it up and took the blame. He is getting rid of all of his equipment and of all the snakes you see in the pics, only 6 made it in decent enough condition to survive. :( They are being sent to other people to have hopefully better lives.

That's what I've found through searches and such. The person who took the pics was apparently his old roommate/girlfriend and reported him to animal control or aspca or something but I'm not sure if she actually did.

.

GOOD, they deserve better. And that just pisses me off that only 6 of them made it.

There is NO excuse for that kind of crappy treatment.

supposedly, but there's NO WAY that amount of filth builds up in only 6 weeks! That takes months and months to get that way!

I say at least a year. Snakes are the cleanest of animals, period. The amount and placing of filth makes me think it was more than snakes, too.
