Tomorrow is feeding day for my 5yr corn that i just got this last week (previous owner feed once every 7days) but I notice signs that he might shed soon (eyes, skin color and behavior)
Do I attemp to feed? (Eats live mice)
Do I wait until he's done shedding?
Do I feed him a smaller mouse to make digestion easier?

Thanks,
:)

I usually skip feeding a snake if about to shed unless I am trying to "fatten it up" lol. I had some rescues that were pretty thin and did not want to skip meals on them so I offered a smaller mouse than usual. If a snake is in good shape however, it won't hurt to skip the meal until after it sheds.

He should NOT be eating live mice. The mice could injure our snake. Fees him frozen ones and thaw them before he eats them

I would for sure not feed a live mouse while in shed. Snakes can't see too well when they are getting ready to shed and live mice are more likely to hurt them.

AT 5yrs old he will have no problems at all skipping a meal.
