Do snakes enjoy being enjoyed?

I have Spike out right now. Cruisin around the safety of the dinner table, and she seems to love it, she will climb up on me, then back on the table, on my laptop, take a massive dump, and hide in my Corona hat...
Is this normal? She seems much more relaxed and happy when she is out...
We are not really holding her, just watching her and she seems quite content.
She has naps and everything! She even crawls across my hands while I'm typing!
The question is..

Do some snakes actually like hangin out with the "humans"?

I don't know if they like it. "Tolerate our presence" is probably a better way to put it. We'll never know unless we can find a real life Parselmouth. LOL

Yah my snake poops unexpectedly too. I'll take a look at her butt and it seems smooth...no pooch for poop to be in so I figure she doesn't need to poop, and lo and behold I hear a tiny pffft sound. Bad snake! :p

My snake seems, to my human eyes and senses, to be happiest and most content in the hands or hair of my daughter. He seems curious and relaxed and never "jumps" or gets startled. When I hold him he behaves just a bit differently - not as relaxed, a bit more jumpy. When her friends hold him he's doesn't seem especially happy and will continuously try to go back into my daughter's hair.

So... as much as I can intuit from all of this anthropomorphizing, my guess would be that they have the capacity to dig being enjoyed. I get a kick out of trying to figure out his state of mind, realizing I'm probably miles off, but just having fun playing the game. He's bored, he's happy, he's irritated, etc. :)

Lol, Maybe it has to do with OUR comfort... Because when I reach into her viv to grab her she is really jumpy, and so am I ( new snake owner... lol)
But once she's out we are all calm as can be...
