Do you think this is wrong?

I've also heard that in England it's illegal to feed a live animal to another animal (not counting stuff like crickets I suppose)
Nope. It's illegal to do it in a public place, for entertainment, or if you can be shown to have caused unnecessary suffering. If you have a snake that will only eat live or starve then you can feed it live in your own home, in private.
It's illegal to sell or buy unweaned mammals here though, so you can't buy feeder pinkies and most petshops would look at you funny if you bought live mice from them every week. (Actually, as there's no live feeder market, it'd work out really expensive at around £5 a mouse)
I'd expect hundreds of baby corns die over here every year because their owners have no way to try live pinks. I have my own mouse farm because of that, and have quietly supplied live pinks to people with non-feeders quite a few times.

Yes I took them to vet to make sure they died of no food rather that an illness that my corns can get

I haven't heard anything of the sort.. My mum can acquire livefood... I shall ask her where from. She's a veterinary nurse, and there's definatly a supply of livefoods here in the uk. Really doubtful about this law thing though....

Well, where i am from, it is the law to only feed snakes dead food, so i don't see your point, it was freshly dead

I seem to remember hearing that as well...or is it RAISING your own feeders that is illegal?
No...... Not true.... Just an urban myth....

This is true.........
Live feeding to stop unnecessary suffering to your snake (ie, they will starve unless they feed) is perfectly ok..... Though you may need a vet to back up your claim, but only if you advertise the fact you are doing it... ;)

So my sisters hamster died of old age yesterday, And i managed to try and let me feed it to my snake, she let me, but now she keeps going on and on about it!

Is your sister younger or older than you? Was the hamster a beloved pet to her? How much coercion did you need to use to get her to allow you to feed it to your snake? Personally, I would have treated the hamster with a little more respect on behalf of your sister's feelings. I find it akin to feeding my sister's dead kitten to a Burmese python...just not done.

i think thats just wrong to do that to a family pet! would you feed your snake to your cat once it dies?

Well heres the thing. A corn snake does'nt need a hamster. They are fine with mice their entire life! I have a huge corn, he can take medium rats no issues. But he gets 1 lg. mouse every 14 days. The point is that it won't hurt the corn unles their is some parasite in the animal but I would not have done it.

He didn't say it was a corn.
