My corn snake is about 4 months old and he has pooped on me 3 times. Does this mean he loves me LOL. It doesn't happen every time I hold him but it has happened. Or does it mean that he hates me? Is there a sign I can look for so I know to put him away b4 he takes his poop? Does anyone else get pooped on or is just me?
 
Corns lift their tail and their cloaka swells before pooping. I get pooped on. Alot.
 
You can definitely 'see' when they are going to poop. I notice their tail lifts and you can see the movement and the bulge (looks similar to them swallowing a meal) working it's way down. I usually have time to put something underneath before mine poops/pees on me.
Another trick is I put her on a wet towel in the bathtub with a bit of room temp. water, the water usually stimulates them to go, then I know I'm safe to handle her without any worries :)
 
I have a growing collection of shirts I can only sleep in or at least can no longer wear in public.

anywhere on me is the worst place for my corn to poop. Id rather him save that for his home and not my shirt :) but i guess when u gotta go u gotta go and that is the only "gift" he has to give :rofl: so ill just keep it in my mind that he loves me
 
yep.. I have been pooped on too!

although it was on a blanket thank goodness, ;)
but I could tell when it was going.g to happen.. it was sort of cute, he was crawling through the blanket and then out of no where he paused and hid his head under the blanket and then lifted his tail up and went.. it was almost as if he didn't want me to "watch him go to the bathroom" aha it made me laugh. :D
 
No I don't get pooped one. I might be musked by babies or my milk but never pooped on. I do check however. If they are swollen then they go one the ground or back in their viv till they poop. My bigger snakes I will take outside and let them poop outside.
 
My snow pooed when I was holding him yesterday but he missed and it all hit the floor, this is when he decided to raise his tail and wipe himself off on me! I wasn't impressed!
 
I have been pooped on like twice ever. I very quickly learned the signs that a snake is about to poop.

Somewhere around here I have a picture of a snake who is about to poop...

This is the first sign that a snake has to poop, but RIGHT before they poop, they will hold really still and lift their tail in the air. If I notice that my snake is about to poop, I sometimes will run over to the toilet and hold him over it. :)
 
Ironically enough...one of the first times I was holding my girl Penelope she decided to poop/pee right on me while I was holding her in bed and of course it didn't just get on me and me black work pants....no it also got on our newly changed bed sheets as well lol
 
Haha I have been pooped on once, and it was a hate poop. If I see a bulge, the snakes go back in their tubs!
 
Yep i have been pooped on but luckily only once. I had my girl out for about twenty minutes she was quite happily tying my hands together ( she seems to like this game ) and before i knew it something wet was running down my arm. when i looked, sure as day, there was poop running down my forearm YUK lol

LOL snakes are worst then babies when it comes to going potty on you.
