Does anyone here have just one CS?

Anyone that's been in to them for a long time?:shrugs:
and how long was it before you got the second for those who have many?

I swore up & down that I would only have one, back in July 2006. Then, a month later, I decided that I wanted the one for myself personally at home, and the other would be for my classroom...yeah, that was barely a month later, Aug 2006.

If I acquire any others, it will be because I bred them! :p

I have only one Cheerio.
At our house we get our friends as rescues, there are a lot of unwanted animals out there.
Our snake's supplies were listed on Craigslist for $30. My wife wanted a reptile and contacted the man. Turned out that he still had the snake, his son "left" her to him when he went off to school. The man's plans were to release her in a nearby refuge. I'm pretty sure that's illegal but it became a moot point as my wife came back with viv, hides, UTH, and SNAKEY.
If I get another it would be nice if I could give a home to an "unwanted" animal, but he photos section on this site is changing my mind about only having rescues.
It was a space thing at first. Cheerio's viv is huge, 54" wide X 58" tall. It takes up some space in our rather small home. Recently I've been thinking that the bottom, which is two large doors with shelves, could be opened and remade into two smaller vivs. That is an example of how frequenting this website gets you thinking "you know, I COULD get more snakes".

Hmmmmm, so I am not crazy.

Not in that regard, anyway.
Cheerio is the easiest "pet" I have cared for and we've had cats, dogs, and a wonderful rabbit. That alone makes snakes desirable to me.
Another thing is the great support and information from this website(thanks Serpenco). The only thing I have seen close to this is a site called "the Brickboard" which has been helping me keep several Volvos of mine, and my friends, running well and repaired for years.

I only have 1 corn snake. An okeetee. The only thing keeping me from getting another corn RIGHT now is my mom... I have the money and time but she always has to compromise, "I'll let you do it as long as you sell this one" Well... I'm ending up giving away 3 of my snakes this weekend for a pair of anerys... AND I'm getting a pastel bp soon so.. I feel it's well worth it.
In all.. I went from one corn in Dec. of 06 to... 6 snakes as of right now.

I thought I'd have just one Corn... then it became 12... 6 of which are corns.

Well... that's life for ya :shrugs:

I just have one but I'd really like at least one more, a Banded Abbott's Okeetee. But unfortunately I can't have another just yet either, three things stand in my way, no room for another snake, not enough money... yet, and hubby. Hubby says I'm not allowed to get anymore critters, heh.

Well I got my first corn Nagini in May 06. I got hooked pretty quickly and fell in love with a king at work and bought him in July 06.
Then I was good for a stretch! Although there were plenty of other critters in there (fish, leopard gecko, hamster) But then in December I got my second corn from Don Soderberg, and today I just got my 4th snake as a gift from Merlinspop :) Although if it wasn't for that I still would have weedled my way out of one today, after all I drove two hours to get to the darn expo :p

I only have one. I want more... but i'm a college student and don't think that would be the most educated decision. Doesn't mean I don't want more, though. I also have a uro, and two kitties.
