So, Isis' clutch is currently hatching ( and REALLY slowly I might add... only two out after 48 hours with all the eggs dimpling in) and today she starts laying another clutch that looks as though it might actually be fertile... 13 so far... holy COW that's a alot of snakes!

Congratulations! She's a pretty girl. What is the dad like? Looks like you'll have lots of babies to show off.

I hope I'm as lucky in a few days. My eggs are beginning to dimple (day 60 is July2) and momma snake shed a week ago, refused food this week, and I can feel 10 or eleven distinctive egg bumps in her. She's also roaming her cage today. She hasn't been with a male again, so I'm hoping for some fertile ones in the 2nd clutch too.
 
Here's a pic of Dad... he's a tunning looking amel... although he's kind of looking like he might be a particular kind of amel... not sure but I'm also only comparing him to pics in books....
