I'll be building a rack system in the coming months but feel a little like putting a large terrarium-raised snake into a sweaterbox is like putting a farm-raised cat into an appartment. Am I way off here? I really care about my snakes and I don't want them to feel imprisoned in a smaller cage once they've become used to a larger one. I'm 'racking' them because with a growing collection, my boyfriend is starting to stress that the snakes will end up with their names on the door and we'll just be guests!!!

Do snakes even think like this? I'm probably worried about nothing again!!!

Happy Herping,
Adèle

I will give you an opinion based off of my experience and observations:

They don't mind, and don't show any perceptible change when introduced to a rack system. There is still plenty of room to cruise around, even in a tub.
