Draco Pics

Pal-O-Mine

A week later and I am still hopelessly in love with my new addition who I picked up from the MARs show. Draco came from Outback Reptiles and they got him in a trade for some adult corns. So more than that about his history, I don't know. But he is so sweet and easy to handle. Whoever started him did a great job socializing him to human contact. Or is that just the way red albinos are? ( Anyone else have a snake that likes to sleep under his water dish were its cool? )

Oooh he is so pretty! I hope my Drake (similar names lol) looks that pretty when he gets older.

Yeah, I am kinda proud of my decorating of his digs. Since I've sworn off of acquiring any more snakes for a while, ( we'll see how long this lasts! ) that means I can concentrate on accessories! Maybe I'll even get creative and make some hides.

I'm going to try to concentrate my energies and finances on getting another dog. Hubby was gone this weekend and the house was just too quiet. I also don't think the snakes are going to protect me if there is a break in while I'm home. A dog, any dog, will give a criminal pause. ( They're also more cuddly than a sword or a gun! )

So time to jump through all the hoops at the local greyhound rescue!
