Drinking water

I have yet to see my corn drink water from her dish, she waits till I spray her viv down and drinking it off leaves and the glass. I guess it's better than her not drinking at all but she doesn't do anything with her water dish. She doesn't get in it or drink from it. Just wondering if anyone had any tips.

She will get water when she needs it. I have never seen one of my corns drink but he's fine. Usually the will get water when they are out and about at night.

I do catch mine driking or bathing sometimes. Usually after eating or at night roam time. I have him in my room-office with me, so I can see him the most part of the day.

If the skin is not wrinkling and she sheds fine she probably does drink and has no problems at all.

She looks fine, I was just curious because soon as I spray she is moving for a drink like it's last call

You actually don't need to mist corns. They are not snakes that need so much humidity. Many of us live in the desert and have never had any (or very few) problems with bad sheds. If you do get a bad shed you can put a box with lightly dampened sphagnum moss.

Corns will drink when they are thirsty, many people who have had corns for years have never seen them drink, so unless he is wrinkling and dehydrated don't mist and just change the water bowl daily (like you always do). That will provide enough moisture.

She seems to like getting misted and seems happy with the humidity in her viv. She is very active, spend most of her time in her tree. If she is in her hide and I mist the viv she comes out. Is there any health issues with misting your corn snakes?

Like over 70%? If the recommended is about 40-50%, I guess that is pretty high.

Aside from RI, you may cause mould formation and bacteria propagation.

This winter there were some very rainy days in my city and humidity was like over 80% all the time. I freaked out a bit, hahaha. That would be high exposure definitely.
