Dumb feeding question....

So I've read a bunch about feeding snakes in a seperate container. Makes sense for all the reasons indicated. But here's my dumb, inexpereinced question. After they take the mouse in the seperate container, how long do you leave them in there before moving them back to their normal tank?

RIGHT AWAY

you can put them back right when there done, just try to drop them from the container rather then handle them into it

They are ready to move when the lump reaches the stomach, about a third of th way down the body, and stops moving. You can either gently pick up the snake and support the mid-section, if it doesn't struggle, or put the container in the viv and gently tip the snake out.

I think dumping them might be a little rough on a full tummy. As soon as i see that they have gotten the mouse in a comfertible place and are no longer pushing it down I just pick them up supporting the whole body expecually the full part and put them back in their tank
