Early feeding question

With the holiday coming up, I've realized that I either feed early twice, or end up with an 8 day gap. Would it matter if I feed him a day early and then again after 4 days (normally I do every 5)? He shed last week, so I'm not too keen on doing another longer-than-normal stint of no feeding so soon.
 
That's fine. To be safe, feed a slightly smaller pink, and you can cut tiny slits through the head and back- say four- to make it more readily digestible.
