EEE! First Pippies Ever!!!!

Sisuitl

I dig'em!
We had an egg hatch!!! And another is pipping!!! (can you tell I'm excited?)

The one that hatched is a beautiful normal out of a hypo bloodred papa, and an amel mot mama. :santa: The second pippie looks like either an amel or snow, and the other father of the clutch is a butter so looks like he is probably the father of that one.

Pictures are coming!

I love her head pattern. Originally we planned on selling this clutch if they hatched.....but I don't think I can do it now.

I'll try and get some belly shots tomorrow, interestingly enough, she has a very heavily checkered stummy despite being an outcrossed blood.

Well, mom is an amel motley, and the two dads were:

Butter (amel + caramel)

Hypo Bloodred (already test bred and no hets)

So, since mom is an amel, and the butter is an amel, all of their babies will be amels of some sort. Since the hypo bloodred has already been tested for amel and does not carry it, any baby that is not some sort of amel is his baby. That's how I know this cute little girl is his.

Yay! Thanks for the congrats! We're really excited to see what comes out of the others now. I'm hoping that mom and the butter are both het for anery so maybe we'll get a snow.

Here is some updated ones from this morning. The egg pipping on top is an amel het butter mot too.
