EGGS, EGGS & MORE EGGS...

curiousL

Daytona...what a blast...
My goodness, I couldn't believe it, my boyfriend (VinnyJ) and I have been patiently waiting for eggs. We had a snake lay eggs last week and now all of a sudden this week it's like nonstop...what fun...he is so excited, he spends so much time taking care of the snakes and it is cool to see his excitement as he opens their containers and finds more eggs. It's super cute and exciting. We can't wait to see what they all turn out like and Tom if your reading this, that beauty we bought from you laid quite a few eggs for us!!! I am sure VinnyJ will be in touch with you about that!!! :)

Have patience, we were wondering there for awhile too and now it's our time, yours will come soon! Good luck! :)

yeah it will, i do have 2 that are visibly gravid, the rest have either recently been put together or havent at all yet.
its just a lot later than i normally manage to do things for some reason.

Congrats! Lots and lots of eggs this year. A snake at the shop I volunteer at laid eggs in the last few days. Lovely. :)

Congrats you two! I hope the season gives you some cool stuff!

Thanks Carol :) These were the match ups this year:

Blizzard X Blizzard - 20 eggs
Amel X Amel - 24 eggs
Anery X Ghost Stripe - 8 eggs
Ghost Stripe X Ghost Stripe - 13 eggs
Hypo Lav X Hypo Lav - 4 slugs
Amel X Amel - Eggs started dropping this morning... 11 when I left for work
Amel Motley X Hypo Lav - Still waiting
Anery X Ghost Stripe - Still waiting
Snow X Snow - Still waiting

It's been a pretty good year for our snakes. Can't wait to see the eggs hatch. The hypo lav male we got from you was just as you said... I very enthusiastic breeder to say the least :). The Amel Motley I matched him with is huge and reedy to drop any day.

Sorry to hear about the 4 slugs from the Hypo Lav female! :eek1:
Hopefully you'll have better luck with the Amel Mot, he has always been super fertile. I'd suspect the female in this case. Let me know if he is het Amel!

Hi Carol

Hey Carol, yeah VJ has been so excited and the snakes we got from you are great. That male let me tell ya, he knows how to work... ;) We can't wait to see what all turns out... we will definately keep you posted!

That would be very cool if he was het Amel. Lol. I'm not worried about the 4 slugs... it happens. I'm pretty sure it was the female too and not the male.

Lara & Vinny J,
I'm happy to hear of the successful breeding's!! Hope to see you this summer!
 Any pics of the clutches? :shrugs:

It took me a while but here's some pics of a couple clutches.
