OK, well, I'll jump on this one too...

If they're only 4 days old and they're looking so bad I think your incubator is much less than optimal for them.

This is what they (ultimately) should look like right up to hatch time.

They start off a little less plump and swell out a bit but from the looks of those eggs, the humidity is way too low.

You can see in my pic that there's some condensation on the sides but the vermiculite doesn't look wet....when you run a finger through the vermiculite only a few grains should stick to your finger and if you squeeze it it should not give much or even any water.

Ummm....what?

Can you please re-type that. There is no punctuation and even when I read it out loud, I still don't know what you're trying to say.

i look in the tub at 7an and every thing was ok look at7pm and it like 2 as gone all funny

Translation;

At 7aM they were fine, 12 hours later they look like poop.

Geeze I'm a helpfull bloke. :wavey:

They don't look good at all.

Where have you got the tub? Are you still in the airing cupboard with a 100watt bulb on it? My guess is a combination of too hot and not enough moisture.

How damp is the vermiculite? If you pick some up in your hand and squish it, does any water come out. You should be able to squeeze out a few drops if you squish hard. If you can't get any out at all, it's not moist enougn, if you get a waterfall, it's too moist.

Does the tub have a lid on it normally? I presume it does. If it doesn't they have no chance. The tub should mist up slightly on the sides. Again, not too much though, if you have droplets forming on the top, it's too moist.

If it does seem too try, take the eggs out for the moment, add a bit more water and mix it through the vermiculite until it feels about right as described above. Use tepid water, not freezing cold, not boiling hot.

It's impossible to give exact instructions I'm afraid, it's just something you have to learn. My first couple of clutches ended up in much the same state and I'm sure plenty others have as well.

The top two in that picture, the discoloured ones, are almost certainly dead. You can probably get rid of those before they start to mould or rot.

Finally, please drop the text speak in your posts. It's really hard to read and half of what you've written in this thread just looks like gibberish to me. It'll only put people off replying to you .....

For some reason, I thought residents of the United Kingdom usually spoke English as their native language. You're 19 years old and a resident of the UK, and you clearly know how to maneuver around a computer well enough to get onto the internet and find this English-based forum. Yet you don't know how to type a basic sentence? It's truly hard to help someone whose questions are so hard to decipher. What exactly are you asking?

Snake nut, in his defence I must say that I'm a permanent resident of Sweden and have lived here for 3 years and it is hard to write in another language. Perhaps he's a newcomer to the UK?

If he's a Brit....then there's no excuse, there's spell check and a funny little thing called 'proof reading' to help us out. And before anyone says that he could be handicapped...he can maneuver a forum, post photos and set up an account....so I guess laziness is a disability that's selective/not that bad!
