EGGS!

Corn, King & Royals
So this morning I checked out my mates King (I crashed over his place) and there were two eggs in the viv. One in the water bowl and one dried up on the floor. Shes also quite bloated and her back end lies belly up sometimes. Its was really confusing. Shes around 4.5ft and has been with him for about 5 years with no male contact. The eggs looked infertile, horrible and yellow.
Any ideas? is she okay or should she be taken to a vet?
Thanks guys

I'd give her a lay box. Females can lay slugs with no male contact, and I've heard that slugs are harder to lay than fertile eggs. Also, I recently learned that for ball pythons, at least, it _is_ normal for the snake to lay upside down to find a comfortable position prior to laying.

Dang, I'm really sorry to hear about your loss. I"m gonna ask a naive question here but is it because she was trying to pass slugs that caused her to pass away?

She probably was eggbound longer than anyone knew. That's a hard thing to predict though with her never having met a male.. Sorry for your friend.
