Is Emory a real color morph in corn snakes?

The lady I bought my new corn from today said my corn was a Snow x Emory.
 
Congrats on your new snake! Emory is a rat snake, so that would make your new snake a hybrid, I believe.

Edit: But not totally sure. Some of the more knowledgeable folks should be able to answer better.

Emoryi is another type of ratsnake that can cross breed with corns, so you would have a snow-creamsicle or something along those lines. I am sure someone has made a nicer name for it. A rootbeer would be a regular corn crossed with a regular emoryi. Creamsicles are amel corns crossed with amel emoryi I believe.

I say you'd call it a creamsicle. The emoryi aspect usually shows in the saddles (it adds more saddles to the back) and it can make them grow bigger, slightly faster too.
 
Ok.

I'll try to get a better(non-blurry) picture of it when it settles in so you can see it's pattern better.

You have your answer here. You sometimes can't tell if a particular snake is part Emory or not by appearance, depending upon what percentage of Emory there is, but since you were told that your snake was the result of a snow X Emory breeding, you have to consider it a hybrid (called a creamsicle as it looks to be the amel version). If you ever decide to breed your snake in the future, you should call all the offspring hybrids as well, no matter what you breed it to.

The typical Emoryi used in the cross is the ones we would find in Texas. If the animal is homo for amel and anery it is just a snow, in the corn world. A rootbeer comes from crossing any corn morph with any Emoryi.. Creamsicles are generally from rootbeer het amel X rootbeer het amel, whether it amel gene is from corn or emoryi. From my best understanding, the amel from emoryi is at a different allelle from a corns amel gene.. However, whether it is the corns amel genetics or the Emoryi amel, or even both in homo state, they are still considered Creamsicles.. In any case, some type of hybrid..
