While I was at school today (I miss summer vacation already!),my dad was checkin' out my baby, but she wasn't in any of the hides! My dad franatically looked around for my baby. Turns out she was under the paper towels under the aspen. I know that she has no way right now to get to the lid (I've been meaning to get a branch for her) and couldn't escape right now, but a guess my dad didn't know that. lol

lol well remember.. With giving them the ability to get higher in the enclosure they will be able to get more strength to lift the top of the cage. Sliding top lids are perfect for snakes, if not, locks can be purchased at a petstore to ensure your snake stays in. A corn would be quick to move around a house an hide, really hard 2 find

My lid is a sliding screen lid with 2 pins so unless she finds out how to push both pins out and slide the screen open, I don't think she will have much luck escaping. Her escaping would have to be because of my stupid mistake (but that doesn't happen often).

LOL, One time, years ago, when my first corn was a little baby. A friend had bought me a little castle for my corns cage. I put it in and admired it and that was the end of it. A few days later I went to get my baby and he was GONE! I had a heart attack. I made my husband come home from work to help me look. While I was searching, he said "are you sure he is not in is cage?" "YES" I said, quite annoyed. He began to check anyway and when he picked up the castle there was a little corn underneath. Not only was it hollow, the was a little corner he could crawl in so I could not see him from just looking in the bottom. Since I set the castle on the aspen, he easily crawled up and hid in his little corner. I was so happy! I was really grateful to my husband, who know how long I would have been searching the house.
