I know most people already know this, but I just had a very bad experience transporting my snakes into Canada (nothing to do with gettin across the boarder.) I packed all my snakes up like I would if shipping them since it was such a long drive. When I unpacked them at the hotel, one of the snakes was half way out of his bag, but not through the top. There must have been a small hole I didn't see on the side that he squeezed through, and he was very tightly stuck in there. He couldn't move forward or backwards. So after being musked and bitten numerous times, I was finally, and VERY easily and slowly, able to cut him out. It was a very scaring experience. The area he was stuck at roughed his scales up a bit and it was a little red for awhile. But I think he's going to be fine.
