Took a quick drive up the middle fork of Bishop Creek to Lake Sabrina this morning for a few shots. The fall colors are fantastic up there, and getting better. This heavy storm rolling in made a cold, but good morning…

Anyhow…it was just a quick trip, but I think the storm made for some very interesting lighting. It was fun.

Very pretty! Those pix remind me of many places in eastern Oregon, where I lived for 20 years. Starkly beautiful. Somewhat lonely. A place to look inside ones-self.
 
Great shots. Love the photo of the boats in the water, and really love how the yellow rope ties in with the background.

The fall foliage here in the north-east is just incredible now. The leaves on the trees are yellow, red, orange, green and every combination together.

I pretty much took pictures of the exact same area over 20 years ago,I think it was in November though. To be honest the change that the area is making is heart breaking. I suppose nowadays to get away to see some pristine areas you have to hike/pack back. Chris have you been back to Blue lake? Its the lake thats is about 2 or 3 miles behind Sabrina.I highly suggest it,especially to take some pictures.
 
Wow, those are some gorgeous photos. Love how the dark clouds seem so ominous and ready to burst. Very beautiful pics, thanks for sharing!
