Fancy Mice

VinnyJ

Red Chin Eastern Indigo
I, like many others here, figured that if I was going to breed mice for food the mice might as well be interesting. I've added some nice mice to my breeding collection and thought I would share some pics. I picked up some Non Agouti Extreme Blacks, Siamese, Burmese, Tri-colors (not pictured), Black and Tans, and some English reds. I'm also including a pic of a black eyed white mouse I produced. I hear the black eyed white mice are rare but I haven't been looking for them until recently. I guess most white mice are albinos and have red eyes. Hope you like the pics :)

By the time you come up to visit I'll have some that will probably be old enough to leave mom. I'll definitely have more by the time I come down to buy some snakes from you. Lol. I don't know what you'll have but you always have some cool snake I want. Lol. :)

Okay Carol, I don't know about hamsters.... JK!!! LOL!!! That's Vincents call but they are so cute I can't wait for you guys to come over and see all of them. Especially all of the fat mamma's. That's what I like to call them!!!!

Wow!

Gorgeous mice!
So how does a guy like me in the sticks of North Dakota get a hold of fancy mice like that? I'd LOVE to have some siamese and nice black and tans like those! Thanks for sharing pics.
Russell

Thanks for the comments guys. I really enjoy seeing what comes out of each litter of mice. I really like the silky or shiny looking mice. I've been trying to work that gene into most of my colonies. I'll post more pics as they come.

Carol - I'm not interested in any hamsters but I'm sure we can work something out.

Russel - If I didn't have someone close to me that was known for their mice world wide I probably wouldn't have these. I don't know if you could get someone to ship mice or not. I've never heard of mice being shipped but then again I didn't know snake could be sent till I got into corn snakes.
