Fantasy Football?

I've never been too interested in fantasy football, as I prefer winning as the most important stat. That said, I started one this year, and was wondering who else does it? I went 1st, so of course I drafted Adrian Peterson, but the rest of my draft was nice too (if I say so myself)! Just curious who else has done fantasy football, and maybe even what your team looks like.

I'll dig mine up and post it!

As long as AP stays healthy you'll be set...maybe a little shaky at WR but solid RBs will make up for it. I have the same problem on my fantasy team...

Jay Cutler

Steve Smith
Antonio Bryant
Anthony Gonzalez

Adrian Peterson
Marion Barber

Antonio Gates

Rob Bironas

You've got a nice team Airenlow! I agree that my WR's are a bit iffy, but I think Jennings will put up some nice numbers, and with Favre at QB, Harvin or Rice should do nice as well. Ginn jr. is a threat at return man, and also should do well being the primary WR in MIA (I think better than Chambers).
Your receivers are really good though. I think Gonzales will surprise a lot of folks filling in for Harrison, and Steve Smith (if it's Carolina's) is always a prolific player. Nice pick with Gates (obvious reasons). Cutler's bound to have a good season And the rest seems gravy for you, I really like the picks.

It's all downhill from there though. My starters are pretty solid but I don't have much hope for my 2nd string. I went with "potential" rather than the proven guys.

Either way, I'm just using fantasy football to kill time until fantasy basketball starts up. It should be pretty soon...

I forgot about the draft and didn't adjust my pics. All and all, I am fairly happy with my team. Here they are:

QB

Aaron Rodgers
Jake Delhomme

RB

Matt Forte
Darren Sproles
Jonathan Stewart
Fred Jackson
Ahmad Bradshaw

WR

Andre Johnson
Greg Jennings
Santana Moss
Dwayne Bowe
Laveranues Coles

TE

Aerenlow: Great team!. Antonio Bryant's a steal, and I think Antonio Gates is underrated as well. He's still the best TE in the NFL when healthy IMO.

Rich: Wow!!. Matt Forte, Andre Johnson, Aaron Rodger's and Greg Jennings. They will be great this year for sure!.

Here's my Fantasy Football team. It's a free league on NFL.com and was a live draft;

QB: Aaron Rodgers
Jay Cutler

RB: DeAngelo Williams
Larry Johnson
Knowshon Moreno

WR: Reggie Wayne
Brandon Marshall
Braylon Edwards
Ted Ginn Jr.

TE: John Carlson

K: Ryan Longwell

Defense: Pittsburgh Steelers

So, AP just single-handedly carried my team to a win. He has 38 of my teams 81 points. And I'm thinking I lost Anthony Gonzalez for at least a few games. This should be an interesting year for fantasy football...

That's crazy!. I never went #1 overall so no Peterson for me, but when I looked at his stats earlier in the day it said "17 carries for 76 yards, 1 TD"; Decent!. Then I checked 20 minutes later and he has 180 yards and 3 TD's. Thank god I didn't play him this week or else I would have been screwed. Luckily I got Reggie Wayne in 2 of my 3 drafts, and he was my AP for the day. He got me somewhere around 20+ points, which is SO sweet!.

That's because Gonzalez went down...so Peyton didn't have anybody else to throw to. My loss was your gain!

True, though I'm expecting him to keep it up all season long. He'll finish with at least 100 catches, 1,400 yards, and 12 TD's for sure. Quietly too, lol!.

I need Nate Kaeding (SD-K) to go off for 29 points this game! I'm thinking the odds aren't in my favor...
