I had a corn when I was in high school. I had to give her away when I moved away to go to college. I've always wanted another one and today I finally found my perfect scale baby!

I've had her viv set up for a while and had my heart set on a ghost. I went to a small reptile expo today and found this little girl. She was listed as a Hypo Charcoal. I'm far from experienced with morphs but have never heard of hypo charcoal. Anyway I couldn't get a great picture of her but here is my unnamed girl. The clear picture is not totally true to her colors. In the fuzzy picture, the left side of her is much truer to her actual colors. snakey baby1.jpg

I don't know how to edit my post..But, looking at the pictures nice and big and instead of on my phone it looks like the clearer one is pretty close to her real colors so just ignore the big fuzzy picture. Haha I'm just so excited it's silly!
 
Congratulations on your new baby! The trade name for that combo of genes is Phantom and what they are usually called. I love Phantoms and have several myself. My avatar is in fact a little Tessera I bought as a Charcoal but suspect that she is actually a a Hypo as well, making her a Phantom Tessera.

Ahh, thank you! I was wondering why I couldn't find anything on hypo charcoal. Looking at pictures of adults I'm super excited. I was hoping she would end up ghost-like. I love the lighter ghosts so it seems like I chose wisely. There was also another corn from a different vendor labeled "anery ultramel" I was back and forth between the two tables. But the anery ultramel seemed pretty sluggish and the man running the table didn't seem to care one way or another that I was there interested in buying. I'm very happy with the choice I made : )

Thank you! I can't wait to watch her grow and change. It feels good to be back and just in time to lurk the breeding board and see some new babies!

Haha I know! I've spent several long periods away from the forums and whenever I come back those pippie pics always suck me back in!! :grin01:
