I know I could probably look this up on the fed ex website but can anyone tell me some details about how to get Fed ex certified? What is your experience with the process? Thank you!
 
There is an excellent and thorough thread on faunaclassifieds entitled "Shipping: What you need to know!" by TripleMoonsExotic. There are threads here as well, as I recall.
 
Just google search it. A zillion threads will come up. It's (mostly) quite easy. Biggest problem is if you get an incompetent representative. They can make it a nightmare, but if they are bad, ask for a manager or higher up and get them to give you a new one.
