Fed ex truck! never got the tracking nr!

So I am a little nervous, I did business with a girl on fauna (I checked boi she had good feedback). And I did not get the confirmation tracking email. Now I wouldn't be surprised if they just misspelled my name but if the email doesn't go out, will they still deliver? Will my snakes be in limbo? I emailed her to let her know I didn't receive anything, it dawned on me 2 hours ago, and I don't have her number so I can't call and bother her. Hopefully it's the same guy as always 1. he's cute 2. he likes snakes and 3. He is always careful and he ALWAYS rings the bell and knocks.

He should be here either in 45 minutes or 1 hour 45...

So the breeder emailed me, and she sent the nr... showed up my babies didn't make it on todays truck! she is calling them now they are most likely at pick up location so I am getting ready to go and get them.

Nothing is ever that easy. So now I am waiting for fed ex to call me back, so find out exactly where the babies is. they may be on the truck, because sometimes they shuttle late packages out, or it may be on the shuttle, or it may be on the location...

*roll eyes*

Yuck! So sorry you are dealing with that! Usually as you are making the shipping label, it gives you the option to send the tracking info in an automated email to the buyer but there were a number of times where they were never sent for me when I used it, so I try to remember to always message the buyer the tracking number too, just in case.

FedEx has been late the last 3 packages I've received, the last 2 I've sent and the last 5 packages for other people that I've heard of, sounds like they really need to work on getting themselves together! Not fair they charge so much for Priority if they are only managing to get half of the Priority packages there on time!

I agree and esp when it's live animals... I cancelled my work tonight, my client understood, she's an animal lover too. But it's 300/session that I lost.. I got the shipping back though which is 55. They say my babies are on the truck now but I have no clue of when it will arrive so i can't go and do my grocery shopping or anything.
But mostly it sucks for the babies :( everything is ready for them and due to this mishap I will video when I unpack in case something has happened to them and that's why they got delayed.

That's stressful. So far I've only had easy shipments where everything went as planned. Although I always insist as both a buyer and a seller to only ship hold for pickup at FedEx world service centers. Usually the snake gets there nice and early and doesn't have to sit on a truck as long.

I hope yours arrives soon and is healthy!

babies arrived and are happy.. a little cold but they are ok.. Been checking their little bins out.

I got one extreme reverse okeetee, and one vanishing stripe coral ghost...

I only snapped a few fast ones with the cell phone, wanted them in their bins to acclimate.. babies sooo small... the coral ghost is 8 months but was a tough eater but has had several good meals so he should be good to go. I will give them until Saturday and feed the then because they fed Friday last so they should be nice and hungry.

Glad you got your adorable babies. I don't know what is going on with Fed ex. The last pair of snakes I ordered from South Florida bypassed North Florida all together and ended up North somewhere. So much for 'overnight shipping'. Fortunately, they were packed up nice with a warmer gel and arrived safe and sound a day later. Fed ex used to be very reliable. Not so much anymore.
