Feeding Lizards

I live in N.C. and we have tons of blue tailed lizards during the summer. I know I've seen people say they feed lizards as a treat almost and i was wondering what you guys thought about this. Are lizards good for an occasional feeding and how about that specific kind. Also are there any risks with feeding wild lizards i would find. Thanks I just want to know if this is a good idea before I even try to figure out if i would do this.

Lizards carry parasites. Your snake could decide it likes lizards and only lizards and you would be stuck feeding lizards which becomes a problem in winter. I would only feed a lizard as a last resort in a non-feeder.

O.k. sounds good. No lizards for my little guy. I was just wondering. Thanks for the good points and reasons to not feed lizards.

I was thinking something similar the other day, looking at all the little lizards on the trail by my house. I like to offer my snakes variety, but I'd have to find a way to euthanize and freeze them so I wouldn't be worried about parasites.
