GISELE - Not sure what size your snakes are, but keep in mind the smallest rats are equal to pretty good sized mice.

I don't read what CAV posts anymore but i hear in PM's to me he's often trying to be funny at my expensive, and still beeing rude hoping to get to me to react to him again. I'm not beeing that immature as to even response to it. I hope they get bored eventually and stalk someone else. If you choose to believe them it's fine with me. I choose the mature way and ignore them instead of repeating it over and over and over again over the whole forum. If that's a 'dreaded' list ??? Thankfully the whole Quigs thing is beeing ignored by the rest. Though CAV is most likely trying fuelling the fire again, judging by your post. I don't care. They bore me.

That chart is great. Cheers for that........... bit disappointed though as I can't for the life of me see gerbils on there. Is it just me or are they missing?

I've recently started breeding gerbils for my lot to give them a bit of variety and there's only one problem that I've found so far.............. they're so damn cute! Adorable, friendly little things. Does anyone else breed gerbils?

I have yet to make a rude comment to you, Jicin. What I have done is not allow you to freely post bad advice. I don't have a problem with you personally. I do think you need to gain some actual experience (more than three months with one snake) before offering an "expert's opinion" on any and every topic that comes along. I’ve made numerous attempts to politely suggest this, but to no avail. Your only reaction has been to place anyone on your "ignore" list that doesn't agree with you. This has accomplished nothing other than to reduce the information sources you have access to for further developing your knowledge base.

My focus on this topic is singular and simple: People should be able to come here for information without having to fear receiving bad advice. It is in no way personal. At least that is my opinion............

I don't claim to know it all, and i still won't claim i know it all when i have twice you 'expertice'.

Who said we need to shut up if you don't have snakes longer then a certain amount of time??? I don't give any advice on subject i have no knowledge of. Like genetics or breeding and things like that. But some things i am just as valid as everyone else to give my advice on. And nomatter how much you don't like it, i am as free as all forum members her.

3. Perhaps you should read the book 'What's wrong with my snakes'. But ofcource these writers know nowhere near as much as you. So a quote of that book is 'evidence of bad advice' in your book No, it's something that hasn't happened in your narrow world yet. You should learn from people who know it better then you. Because some people really do. They did like, go to school for it and stuff, for a few years. When i question is asked, i bother to look up things is books, or ask people who really know snakes, besides the snakes they own themselves and immidiately base their world on. And then post. And their advice is better then someome who 'observes' them in their garden. Not that that knowlegde is worthless. Far from it. But you should not think you are better then them. You should be glad to be able to buy a book, and even more to get info out of it for free.

I am quite comfertable with letting each member on this forum make up their own mind. I've pointed out the lies in your post, and you choose to ignore rather then defend. I may hope you stop your endless flow of comments like this:

I'm going to be blunt here. You ARE a troll! This doesn't mean that you are short, fat, ugly and live under a bridge somewhere! It's common forum jargon meaning that you post to any and all threads and you have no clue as to what you are talking about most of the time! This is not a race to see who can get the most posts in a given time! Nor is it a flaming contest, to see who can "one up" the other!

I know you won't believe this but it's the truth! CAV and I didn't even know each other until you came around, other than seeing each others screen names here on the forums. Thanks to you, we have gotten to know each other a bit because of you utter outrageousness! CAV has YEARS of PERSONAL EXPERIENCE as do I and many others here! Opposed to your 3 or 4 months. Yes, I would take CAV's advice over yours in a New York minute! Contrary to your belief, not all published works are sound advice. And your favorite book 'What's wrong with my snake?' is not species specific but rather a general notation. This forums IS species specific and that is the one thing that we all have in common, CORN SNAKES! This is working knowledge on CORN SNAKES and experience far out weighs anything in my opinion.

Funny you should bring up others that have been emailing you. CAV and I just had this dicussion yesterday and both of us has recieved numerous Pm's and emails agreeing with us and patting us on the back for actually having the balls to call you out! It's not just us deary, there are quite a few people around here that are really fed up with your antics!

To be perfectly honest, it's not anything personal but you need to calm down, quit being SO defensive and learn more before you tell others something that is incorrect! Yes, you have given bad advice here, it's definately been documented and proven, so I will not go into that any further.

One last thing to mention...

In many of your posts (flames) you take exactly what has been said to you and twist it around to what you want to hear. Then you proceed to try and twist it further and come back at us with the same points! Take a little of your own advice. There is no need to defend yourself when good, sound and PROVEN advice has been given, it speaks for it's self. Like Krenna said and I have also told you in private... you have done this to yourself and hung yourself on your own responces repeatedly!

Ignore me if you wish, ignorance is bliss! Muting someone (especially someone that has way more experience and can actually help you to learn) on these forums is like running away. Running away just proves your incompetence.

I really do not like arguing with you, but I will continue every time you offer bad advice.

I think the only objection I've seen to feeding them hamsters is the cost is usually much higher than mice or rats. I would think that if they are fed a decent commercial food, the nutritional content should be at least equal of any rat or mouse.

MegF. yeah probably. I think I'm going to go with rats for now though. My littlest snake who, incidentally, is lost at the moment is big enough to handle rat pinkies.

by the way, this snake hasn't gotten out yet but he's been gone for possibly a week. any suggestions on how to get it back? I think it might have gotten out of the room it was in. I had this problem with my other snake but found him fairly soon. I tried the mouse in container thing but it didn't work. grr. I hate losing them.
