Sould I raise the temp in the viv after my snake eats tonight? (if he eats that is). Temps now are 71f Cold side and 85f Hot side.

71 to 85 is a big change inside an enclosure. Are those temps accurate?

Definitely don't raise temps, if anything you might want to drop it a few degrees.

yeah my temps are correct, I have one thermometer on each side. My probes are on the bottom burried about the middle of the substrate which is about an inch and a half thick. I use a rheostat controled uth on the hot side and nothing on the cold but the thermometer.

My snake just eat and went straight to the cold side i think he likes that hide better so im worried if he should be on the hot but is on the cold. The theromostats say about 77 on colde 82 on hot how is that
