depends what kind of bedding you use... if its newspaper then go ahead, but its its chippings or shavings then deffinetly feed it in a different container, if not you run the risk of the snake ingesting some of the bedding, which would fatally harm the snake. oh also hold the food out for the snake to strike at it so it associates striking only with food otherwise it may try eat anything thats it put infront of it
i woundnt handle it after its ate... what i do is put the container i fed my snakes in into the viv so they can come out when they want, when they are out of the containers i take them out, just giving less chance of any upset to their tummies and less chance of regurge
No problem , you can place them back in the cage with no problem. Wait until the food is down to the midsection of their body and put your snake back then. If you handle your snake for a long period, you could risk it. That why you should follow the 48 hour rule of no handle after feeding.
You'll be fine, don't sweat it, just but him back as normal.
