Female interest

So I have inherited a female snow corn from a friend who as of today is just over 200 grams. She's about 2 years old and seems to be very interested in the scent of my male. Now I know the rule of 3 with corn snakes and breeding, but could she be wanting to breed? I have more experience breeding ball pythons so corn snake behavior is still a little alien to me. Thanks in advance and here she is

She is SOOOO pretty! It's probably more of a case of interested in everything, including another snake. Snakes can and will breed as yearlings or maybe even younger, but I don't think cornsnake females typically go off searching for love.

Thank you 😀 she really is a pretty little girl and I thought that might be the case as well just wanted to get an expert opinion. The whole 3 foot 300 grams thing is still what everyone goes by right?

That's a good starting point, but more important is a snake who is in prime physical condition- strong and muscular, not fat and flabby. Males are pretty much fertile and ready to go at 160-180 grams.

Thank you again for all the wisdom. She's a very healthy little snake, but I'm gonna wait it out. I'd rather her be a bit bigger, my male tessera is ready to go though. Has been for months.
