I was actually cleaning some coolers off for a party we were having later that day. When I picked up the second cooler I found this little guy along with a couple of slugs and some worms. From what I read its a Storeria dekayi dekayi or brown snake. I think this guy had just finished a meal because he was looking a bit full. He musked me a couple of time so I shot some pictures and let him go back to his business. Hope you guys enjoy the pictures.

Thanks for all the comments. I was actually surprised to find this little guy here. Ive been living here for about 6 years and have never found any in the area. Hopefully there are more around to help take care of the slugs, snails and worns in the garden. Thanks

These guys live in Manhattan! I was walking home one day this summer and I spotted a brownie on the pavement inside Central Park. She was gasping and it looked as though something had bit her. She died in my hands five minutes later. I knew she was a female because she had fully developed eggs in her. Really sad.
