Now that she's settled in a bit and taken & digested her first meal with me, I figured it was time to share!
I went in to the Seattle reptile expo last weekend with no plans for a new pet. Strictly beardie food and window-shopping. Well... Enter the one snake that could make me break that rule. I've been dying to try Beauty snakes again for a couple years now, and this little gal fit the bill perfectly! She's a yearling Taiwan Beauty Rat snake, bred by Lance Portal Reptiles.
Here she is... My new little pride and joy! She's still nameless right now... I'm torn between "Kialandi" (a character from the Inheritance cycle) and something more dragon-y, like "Wyvern."
And this is her enclosure for right now. It's a 12x12x18" Zoo-Med terrarium. A wee bit small for her, but it does the trick until I'm able to upgrade.
