Finally my little one ate on it's own!

Double het

If i'm gonna eat somebody
I am sorry to start one of these 'ten a dozen' topic but i have to share this succes story.

Begin juni 11 hatchlings emerged from the egg. Within 1 month all had eaten. Most imidiately the rest after a few tries with cooked/brained pinkies. Just 1 oddball who kept refusing.

After 1,5 she became so thin i could see her (or his) spine. She also seemed to become weaker. So i started to force feed rattails on a regular basis. Mind you, i already used most things in the book! The rat tails were just to keep her alive. Every now and then starving her a bit and try her to eat a pinkie-with-a-trick on her own.

Now today finally she ate her pinkie! After 4,5 month she finally decided a cooked and brained pinkie was better then having a rat tail forced into her!

So to all you keeper of non-feeders. Don't give up. In the end they may realise a pinkie is the way to go after all

Congratulations! I hope she keeps it up!! I'm not sure which of those meals I'd find more appealing...
