Finally Pics of My New Rack

Pruddock

Gig 'Em Ags!! Whoop!!
Hey guys! I decided to build my own rack to save space in my apartment next year. Nothin too special, but it'll hold 8 snakes and everything fits very snug. It also breaks down and goes back together easily because I used 1/4 inch dowel rods and some easy fasteners so keep everything together. Great for a travelin college student lol. Anyways here it is (and I know that the tubs looks really humid and thats been fixed because I had just washed them out and needed to let them dry a little more)

Thanks :) I cheated a little bit because my friend is a cabinet maker who lives about 45 minutes away now, and he has some amazingly accurate equipment lol. It was a fun project though and a whole hell of a lot less expensive than buyin it offline.

i am thinking of building a rack but i was just wondering how big are the containers you used and what size snake would fit in the comefortably?

p.s looks a great little rack
thanks,
lee

They're 28L tubs, and they can hold most medium sized adult corns. I know that a lot of people use this size for corns for their juvenile and adult lives, as well as some people who breed BPs. I wish I would have got with a 32L tub, but it was going to cost me a ton more money in wood and I couldn't find 32L anywhere in the little town I live in in Iowa for the summer. The nice thing about this little rack though, is that Its sturdy enough to have another stacked on top of it in the future :D

thanks, i would imagine they would be big enough for king snakes if i cant find 32 litre tubs then. my reason was also for breeding. i hope to start breeding a few kings next season.

good look with the vipers anyway and thanks or the info,

lee
