im trying to hury up and finish the tank im making for my two corns...they are only going to be living in this tank for probly a year or so.

it is made with 1/4" plate glass and 1.5"x1/8" black alu. L angle and sealed with aquarium silicone. its dementions are 36 x 16 x 14 tall...i need to split it into two to house each snake seportatly so then each snake will have aprox a 20 gal. tank size each. i have one UTH that is a ZooMed rated for a 50-60 gal. tank size...the temp in my room stays around 75*...i was thinking about getting two of these..one for each side of the tank to moniter the warm side...i wont worry much since i know what the cold side will be at...im thinking about putting the tank heater in the middle of the tank so that it will sit 1/2 way on each side of their areas...ill make each side nearly identical just opposite of eachother...3 hides each side one on the warm side, one cold and one in the middle, ill put the water in the middle and then a climb along the whole length of each side. substrate is aspen...ill keep the warm end at 85* with around 35-50% humidity...i also need to get a Rheostat for my UTH...

any ideas on how to improve this? any would be great, thanks

Sounds pretty perfect, depending on what kind of climb you get I recommend either getting one with a lot of fake leaves or hot gluing fake leaves on the climb. When I did mine I just went to Wal-Mart and got some decorative twisty branches and some fake leaves and hot glued them all over the branches. I think I would rather do it that way so you have control over exactly how it looks but I like doing things like that so its up to you. Post some pics when your done so we can see!! ;)
