First clutch hatching

Tania

I just love cornsnakes
The 13th I saw a slit in one egg, the 14th, there was one out and a slit in two more, now today, there are two out the egg and a slit in 3 other eggs, one is still closed. Dad is a hypo het. anery, mom is an normal with no known hets, but it looks like she definitely isn't het for hypo or anery because all babies are normals.
first picture: first slit
second picture: first hatchling
third picture: second hatchling
fourth picture: both hatchlings, headshot.
Both hatchlings are very similar, headpattern and marks on the body are almost the same.

do you remember how long after the egg dimpled did you see the slit? I have one that just dimpled a couple days ago. the egg shell is thin and I'm getting too excited!

My eggs didn't dimple, or not that I have seen. I went looking morning and evening, so I don't think they dimpled.

I went to the incubator a couple minutes ago and I saw another two hatchlings. Now it is still waiting for one more to get out of the egg and one that hasn't slit the egg yet.
1e: hatchling 3
2e: hatchling 4
3e: all 4 hatchlings

Yeah, it is always nice to see them out of the egg. Last year I had a clutch of 6 and only 2 made it, so I am very happy that I have already 4 now and I have another clutch of 9 good eggs for the end of august so...
