hi ppl, as you probably guessed i suffered my first ever regurge today, which i'm totally gutted by, since i have 6 snakes most over a year now without any feeding problems, until i cleaned out my snake today. she her fed her f/t med abult mouse a few days back and hasnt been handled since. and i fed her her usual size mouse. she's about 200g and 3.5ft long and also been a great eater, so i can get my head round why this might of happened. i'm planning on feeding her a small pinkie in a few days and ween her back slowly. can any one suggest why this happened or any pointers in getting her back to her old self, and halp will be aprieciated.

I can't be of any help as to why other then to make sure your temps are still correct.

But I wouldn't try feeding her for 10 days. You want to make sure that she has recouped all her good gut fauna before trying to feed her again or she may very well regurge again, and get set up for multiple regurges, which of course you don't want and could possibly kill her.

You also may want to try to get some of Kathy Love's nutribac which has all the good bacteria your snake needs for her gut.

Good luck with your girl and I hope all goes well with you.

Yes, search this forum for other threads on regurges, which there are plenty of, with lots of pointers on how to help your snake get back to normal :)

One thing though - do not try to 'wean' her back onto feeding in a few days. I understand why you thought this would be best, but your snake needs 10 days to recover from a regurge before you should attempt feeding again. The last thing you want to do is feed too early and have her regurge again :(
