Thanks in part to all the good advice from this forum, our new corn, Slithers, had a very successful first feeding, 3 days after his arrival. We put him in a deli cup with a small pinkie and within five minutes he was done! He spent the rest of the day in his warm hide and then tonight he decided to go exploring. It's really the first time he's come out of hiding since we got him and he gave the whole place a good going over. When he was stretched out, I was able to get a tape measure next to him: 16 1/2". We spent about an hour watching him and my 8 year old son thought it was sooooo cool. Anyway, it's really great to see him settling in so well. Here's a shot from the 2nd day. Now that he's out and about, there will be lots more.
