Had my first complete shed cycle (from start to finish) since I bought him. Everything went just fine, and there wasn't a partial shed. I was kind of worried that he would have problems with the shed. I placed a "humid hide" in his viv, but he never would use it.
 
Most don't use it. They are overrated for some corns. I suggest them to people have trouble with sheds or humidity, but most of my snakes refuse to use them and don't even have them.

Unless you live in an arid climate, it shouldn't be a problem.
